Sozo is a low cost solution for warming before, during and after surgery, as well as for emergency rescue. Sozo heat reflective blankets preserve body temperature and prevent convective heat loss. Sozo is suitable for patient transport and all kinds of surgery. It does not effect X-ray equipment*. Sozo is a light weight material with a soft inner lining for patient comfort. The material is disposable and environmentally friendly. The Sozo product range offers a inexpensive alternative to electrically powered patient warming systems. Sozo is available in blankets, leggings, caps, mittens, booties, gowns, and kits. Sozo is latex free, nonconductive, radio-translucent (does not obstruct X-rays) and safe in conjunction with laser surgery.

*Sozo should not be used in Magnetic Resonance Imaging machines.



Sozo's great warming potential can be seen in the image below. The left hand has been wearing the SOZO-461 Adult Mitten. The right hand has had nothing on it. The left hand had an average skin temperature of 95°F (35°C) when the Adult Mitten was removed compared to 91.4°F (33°C) for the right hand! That's a difference of 3.6°F (2°C)!
