The reason why Adroit Medical Systems' Soft-Temp blankets are more effective than ice, air or an electric heating pad is that the Soft-Temp blanket maintains a very consistent temperature. The blanket achieves this by circulating water in its fluid channels which are 45 percent larger than those of similar products. In addition, these blankets can support a 300-pound patient easily and are disposable.

Adroit Medical Systems' hypo-hyperthermal pads and blankets are used for many purposes. For example, the blankets can cool the body after a heart attack in a temperature-regulated manner. The blankets can also warm the body during surgery when there is lot of blood loss.
